The store is on Market Street across from the Choo Choo Hotel. The front door faces Market Street, parking is at the rear of the building.
An added treat will be my daughter, Hara, performing her guitar music. We hope to see you there.

I'm happy to announce to my Chattanooga friends that I will be participating in Local Authors' Saturday at the newly opened Star Line Book Store. The event will take place on March 26, from 4-6 p.m. I will sell and sign my book, Moon Flyers.

Today I received my copy of the Chattanooga Writers' Guild 2015 Anthology.
I am so pleased to be a part of this publication of winning authors in the Spring Writing Contest. Both of my Honorable Mention short stories, fiction and nonfiction, are printed in the collection with a short author's biography. Because this was the first time I entered a writing contest, I feel even more encouraged to continue on this path. I enjoy writing and am so pleased to be acknowledged by my peers. I look forward to participating and selling Moon Flyers. I hope to see Chattanooga friends and supporters for this event. The library is in Manchester, TN, about an hour and twenty minutes from Chattanooga. There will be a variety of literature available for all reading interests.
One of my readers posted this review:
"Sometimes what goes on behind closed doors is actually all too familiar to those on the outside. It's secret. It's silenced. But it's there. Yet here, bravely inviting us to examine myriad manifestations of depression and mental illness, comes a talented author to provide us with a straight-forward, and often humorous, look her own journey! This wonderfully organized, well-researched, and easy-to-read book brings a very dark subject squarely into the light." Malka Yesterday I spent three hours at McKay's Book Store selling and signing my book. I was glad to speak with a number of interested people who stopped by my table. I take every opportunity afforded to me to discuss Moon Flyers and mental illness.
